First stay home and be safe now we are in the throws of a pandemic.
The crazy thing is I freelance a lot, so staying home is not that big of a deal; I do miss going to the bar. Also, I’m not going to use this post or subsequent posts as a platform to bash Trump (It would be to easy).
At my age I always thought that a world crisis could be a turning point for the U.S. The 20th century is so advanced in medicines and life expectancy including countries like China, United States, Japan, Canada but I really never thought it would happen in my life time.
The bright side are the numbers are low considering close to 200,000 infected with a population of 330 million people is less than half of a percent and the deaths are even a lower percentage.
I’m not trying to be cold but the bright side is we are going to be able to come out this of this stronger, a bit nicer with a touch of patience towards each other and each others opinions (except Nazis and bigots).
I digress, I have been playing Pokemon, painting and taking walks here in Detroit to keep my mind fresh. One needs to keep busy and writing will help as well. Please be safe and here are some shots of murals I happened upon.
