Black Hills of South Dakota

The Black Hills are amazing! They are so beautiful, 20 miles of colorful painted canyons. With all the rain the grass is really green and adds more color to the some of the rainbow layers. Driving through here you really get a feeling of the history of the area.

These canyons have been around for centuries and will remain long after we are gone. If you ever get a chance to see it GO! You will not disappointed.

I can’t even do it justice so I will just post the pictures I have. I added both colorized images and normal ones.

These small towns that are scattered along I-16 I pretty cool. I often wonder and that it has been a few since I did the drive and saw these towns, is how peaceful it might seem or is it like any other area wanting to do more.

I will say there is a certain joy to not living near a large city. It is quiet!
